Project
Build PwC's next-generation AI-native platform using agentic pipelines, MCP servers, and LLM orchestration to scale professional services automation.
- Duration: Full-time/Contract (Start: ASAP) | HackerRank: Yes
- Location: Fully remote (occasional quarterly team workshops/gatherings likely in Prague)
- Hours: Strict US overlap required (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM CET)
- Contract: B2B only — we only accept contractors with a valid EU VAT number verifiable in VIES (VAT Information Exchange System)
Technical Stack & Core Responsibilities
1. Data Engineering & Cloud (Must-Have)
- Databricks: Hands-on experience with Databricks Jobs, Delta Lake, etc.
- Storage & Databases: PostgreSQL (SQL proficiency), Redis, Azure Blob Storage
- Cloud Infrastructure: Azure ecosystem (Service Bus, Blob Storage, Key Vault)
2. Backend Architecture & Distributed Systems
- Core Python: Python 3 (async/await, type annotations, Pydantic)
- APIs: FastAPI for building production REST services
- Distributed Task Queues: Deep Celery experience (operating background workers and scaling strategies via Redis or RabbitMQ)
- Messaging: RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus
3. AI Orchestration & Tooling
- AI Systems: Backend integration for AI features, agentic pipelines, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers
- Modern Development: Docker (multi-core container optimization), Claude Code, Cursor, Spec-Driven Frameworks
4. Nice-to-Have
- Observability: Datadog for system-wide monitoring
- Infrastructure: Kubernetes deployments
