Senior AI/Data Engineer – GraphRAG (Neo4j) (PwC)

Project

Build production-grade, scalable data and AI-enabled systems using Python, Knowledge Graphs, and GraphRAG.

• Duration: Full-time/Contract (Start: ASAP) | HackerRank: Yes (AI Engineer Challenge)
• Location: Fully remote (occasional quarterly team workshops/gatherings likely in Prague)
• Contract: B2B only — we only accept contractors with a valid EU VAT number verifiable in VIES (VAT Information Exchange System)

Technical Stack & Core Responsibilities

1. Graph & Database Engineering

• Graph Architecture: Graph data modeling, relationship mapping, and graph traversal logic
• Tech Stack: Azure Cosmos DB (Gremlin API) and Neo4j
• Data Platforms (Bonus): Databricks or similar data platforms

2. GenAI & GraphRAG Engineering

• Pipeline Design: GraphRAG solutions combining knowledge graphs, vector search, metadata, and LLM-based retrieval
• Frameworks: LangChain and LangGraph
• Agentic AI: MCP (Model Context Protocol) server/client integration and hosting, agent memory management, spec-driven AI development
• Search (Bonus): Vector databases, Azure AI Search, or semantic search platforms

3. Backend & Data Pipelines

• Core: Strong commercial Python backend and data engineering development
• Architecture: Scalable data pipelines, API design, software engineering best practices (performance optimization, testing)

4. Fullstack & DevOps Support

• Frontend: Working knowledge of React and Next.js to support full-stack development where needed
• Infrastructure (Bonus): Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, cloud-native environments
